Assistant Vice President - Internal Control This position is responsible for planning & conducting operational and system audits and documenting internal controls and financial processes throughout the agency; participating in project work to remediate internal control deficiencies by selecting and implementing best business practices with proper internal controls; assist in monitoring and evaluating overall internal control environment. Qualifications for the position include BS degree in Business, Accounting major a plus. Minimum 3 years of auditing experience is a must; strong financial and internal control background, working knowledge of generally accepted auditing standards and accounting principles required; excellent analytical skills; strong work ethic; excellent communication skills- both oral and written. Team oriented and able to work with people across the organization. Ability to multitask and meet important deadlines are essential. General skills in MS-office with Word. Top of the Page Risk Analyst Reporting to the SVP of Risk Management, this position formalizes the process of risk management within the Agency. Tasks include: Protecting the Agency’s assets and public image; Conducting research to assess the severity of risk; Making recommendations to reduce/control risk, which also involve an insurance strategy; Reviewing legal and contract documents; Purchasing and renewing insurance policies; Carrying out quantities analysis using risk management software; and, Developing contingency plan to deal with emergencies. Potential candidates will have the following: Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance; Minimum 2 years experience; Strong numeracy and analytical skills; Good research skills; Strong planning/organizational skills and problem solving ability; IT competency/computer literacy (MS programs); Written and oral communication skill; and, The ability to work indecently and to cope under pressure and responsibility.
