MassDevelopment Greater Boston Regional Team to Move to Quincy

MassDevelopment has entered into a lease as tenant with Fifteen Fifteen Hancock LLC for office space at 1515 Hancock Street in Quincy to house the agency’s Boston regional team beginning in August 2017. The new office will be easily accessible from the Quincy Center MBTA stop and I-93.
“Since moving into our Boston headquarters in May 2013, MassDevelopment has grown as the Commonwealth has assigned us new missions and asked us to expand others,” said MassDevelopment Executive Vice President of Finance Programs Laura Canter. “We are excited to move our Greater Boston regional team to Quincy, where the additional office space will allow us to serve the region more efficiently.”
MassDevelopment’s Greater Boston regional team serves Arlington, Avon, Belmont, Boston, Braintree, Brookline, Cambridge, Canton, Chelsea, Cohasset, Dedham, Dover, Everett, Foxboro, Framingham, Hingham, Holbrook, Hull, Lincoln, Malden, Medfield, Medford, Melrose, Millis, Milton, Natick, Needham, Newton, Norfolk, Norwood, Quincy, Randolph, Revere, Sharon, Sherborn, Somerville, Walpole, Waltham, Watertown, Wayland, Wellesley, Weston, Westwood, Weymouth, Winchester, and Winthrop.
MassDevelopment, the state’s finance and development agency, works with businesses, nonprofits, financial institutions, and communities to stimulate economic growth across the Commonwealth. During FY2016, MassDevelopment financed or managed 352 projects generating investment of more than $4 billion in the Massachusetts economy. These projects are projected to create about 8,200 jobs and build or rehabilitate about 4,200 residential units.
