Internships

MassDevelopment’s Summer Internship Program offers a well-rounded, hands-on experience designed to support professional growth and encourage exploration of career interests. This 10-week program runs from June through early August and is open to students enrolled in college or technical programs, as well as recent graduates who are at least 18 years of age.

Our Vision: Empowering Future Leaders
  • Interns follow a customized work plan developed in collaboration with their supervisor, allowing them to contribute to projects that support economic growth across Massachusetts.
  • Participants work alongside experienced professionals, gain insight into their fields of interest, and build essential skills in problem-solving, teamwork, and communication through meaningful project work and professional development activities.
  • MassDevelopment seeks interns with strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a growth mindset. Interns must be able to work independently, manage their time effectively, and commute to their designated site three days per week.
