Job Summary:

MassDevelopment is accepting applications for a Loan Administrator in our Lending department within the Finance Programs division. This position will be a hybrid model, with a combination of remote work and in-office work in our Boston office.

Under the general direction of the Assistant Vice President Portfolio Administration, the Loan Administrator will provide portfolio administration support to the Lending, Community Development and Real Estate departments. This position will focus on preparation and data integrity of loan documentation, ensuring superior customer service to internal and external clients.

Essential Functions: 

  • Responsible for processing loan payments and coordinating with accounting to ensure accurate billing.
  • Function as primary contact with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure accurate documentation in the loan servicing system.
  • Maintain file retention system.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Responsible for Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), Real Estate tax and insurance monitoring.
  • Assist in processing legal documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree.
  • One year of experience in a loan operations department.
  • Or combination of both education and experience.
  • Proven ability to manage a variety of projects with multiple deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric focus.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently as needed.
  • Familiarity with commercial loan documentation and loan servicing systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years experience in a loan operations department.
  • Proficiency with loan servicing systems, Enable preferred.
  • Bilingual a plus.
