Job Summary:
MassDevelopment is accepting applications for a Vice President, Green Finance (PACE Projects) in our Finance Programs division. This position will be a hybrid model, with a combination of remote work and in-office work in our Boston office.
Under the general direction of the Senior Vice President, Green Financing, this position will be responsible for working with interested borrowers, capital providers, project developers and other related entities to provide assistance and resources to ensure program requirements are met for submission for Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) projects.  PACE is an innovative program to help commercial and industrial property owners in Massachusetts finance energy improvements.  

Essential Functions: 

  • Manage efforts for application development from initial follow-up through formal application submission.
  • Monitor transactions through closing and assist with any post-closing issues.
  • Provide detailed program information and deliver high-level presentations to applicants and consultants.
  • Maintain internal databases to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Ensure that internal systems and controls are appropriate and met.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Or a combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of municipal governments, and various state and local energy programs.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric focus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a variety of projects with multiple deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with database software and project management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, and/or energy-related field.
  • 5 years of experience in commercial lending, real estate project development, energy services and/or financing.
  • Experience working with public and private entities to utilize various state and local energy programs.
  • Bilingual a plus.
