Job Summary:
MassDevelopment is accepting applications for Vice President of Community Investment – South Region within the Community Development division. This position will be a hybrid model, with a combination of remote work and in-office work in our Fall River office.
Under the general direction of the Senior Vice President of Community Investment, the Vice President of Community Investment will work with governmental entities, nonprofit organizations, and private developers to solve pressing community problems, and advance and administer agency programs and services. Programmatically the position serves as the regional lead for several agency grant programs, including brownfields redevelopment financing, collaborative workspace funding, and certain cross functional projects and initiatives in partnership with other agency departments.
The Vice President of Community Investment will work with institutional stakeholders, including Transformative Development Initiative (TDI) partnerships, to advise and assist in identifying various issues and solutions as well as potential funding sources that may be of assistance in helping to further projects. The ideal candidate for this role will be an active listener, a creative thinker, and one who enjoys working with a wide variety of potential clients and partners to solve problems and advance projects.
