Grant Money Awarded To Several Local Health Centers

Health centers on Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard will be getting some additional state funding.  

Massdevelopment will give $50,000 grants to Community Health Center, Outer Cape Health Services and Island Health Care.  

The CHC will use the funds it receives for increased security.  

Outer Cape Health Services plans to expand services with the money gets.  

A new dental center will benefit from the funding Island Health Care is granted.  

Just over $1-million were distributed to nearly two dozen health centers across the state as part of the community health center grant program.
