Nichols College in Dudley will use a $20 million tax-exempt bond from state agency MassDevelopment to build a new four-story, 19,000-square-foot residence hall, as well as cover other renovations and campus projects, MassDevelopment announced on Thursday.

The new dorm will include 75 beds.

Other projects on campus include renovating the library and campus dining options, repairing and replacing the roof of the athletic center and library, buying grounds and snow-removal equipment, a tractor and vehicles.

“These projects are the first steps on that journey and an opportunity to further enhance our learning and living environment to support the needs of students as well as our mission of providing an engaging and purposeful business and leadership education,” said Jamie Skowyra, Nichols vice president for business and finance and CFO, said in the press release.
