Patton Water Treatment Plant & Shabokin Water Treatment Plant project in Devens, MA

Request for Qualifications

MassDevelopment will prequalify General Contractors and Subcontractors for the construction of the Patton Water Treatment Plant and Shabokin Water Treatment Plant, DWSRF #6757. Prequalification will be established through the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process in accordance with M.G.L. Ch. 149 Section 44D½. The project is for full construction of two water treatment plants, the Patton Water Treatment Plant and the Shabokin Water Treatment Plant. The water treatment process includes a GreensandPlus™ pressure filtration system for iron and manganese removal, Granular Activated Carbon filters and Ion Exchange contact chambers for PFAS removal, chemical feed systems, backwash recycling system, settled solids waste system, baffled clearwell and ancillary equipment and controls at both water treatment plants. MassDevelopment will prequalify Subcontractors in the following trades: Masonry, Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron, Waterproofing, Roofing and Flashing, Glass and Glazing, Painting, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical. Interested General Contractors and Subcontractors may obtain an electronic copy of the RFQ beginning 12/16/20 at 9AM through the Wright-Pierce online plan room using the following link: https://www.wright-pierce.com/projects/ or by emailing directly to Andrew.McDonald@wright-pierce.com or Julia.censullo@wright-pierce.com to request instructions on how to download the RFQ.  The required contract completion period is 730 consecutive days. Anticipated cost of the project is $23.3 million. The Statement of Qualifications in response to the RFQ is due January 27, 2021 by 5PM. This RFQ is for Contractor Prequalification and NOT a construction project out to bid.
