Concord Square Planning & Development Creates Housing

MassDevelopment provided a $6.5 million loan to Petronelli LLC, an affiliate of Concord Square Planning & Development, Inc., allowing the transformation of Downtown Brockton’s Petronelli Building into 18 units of market-rate rental housing. Real estate projects like the redevelopment of 28 Petronelli Way have also been enabled in part by investments in downtown Brockton through MassDevelopment’s Transformative Development Initiative (TDI) program.

Nuestra Comunidad Development Corporation Preserves Affordable Housing

MassDevelopment issued a $15.8 million tax-exempt bond on behalf of Dudley Crossing LLC, an affiliate of Nuestra Comunidad Development Corporation, for the construction and preservation of 47 units of affordable housing across three locations near Nubian Square in Boston’s Roxbury neighborhood. North Shore CDC Invests in Salem’s Point Neighborhood

MassDevelopment awarded $80,500 from the Brownfields Redevelopment Fund to North Shore Community Development Coalition, Inc. (North Shore CDC) to perform environmental site assessments on four parcels in the Point neighborhood in Salem. North Shore CDC also collaborated with North Shore Community Health (NSCH) to build the South River Revitalization Project at the site, which included a 50-unit affordable senior housing facility and nonprofit center featuring a state-of-the-art health center, consolidated NSCH administrative offices, and other office space for area nonprofits.
